Birchmere Lake Thamesmead:

Carp fishing here is hard, the fish are up into the 35lb marks but very open lake.

Course fishing here is Brilliant Pearch, Bream, Roach All briliantly stocked from tiny to very good size's.

Would be a very good lake to take ya kids , they do love a bit of bread & maggots, and your get the bigger course on sweetcorn

best spots for course are by the bridge near the reeds.
