Do you think that for the past 20+ years of every one using hair rigs the carp have wised up to it ?and is there a new innovation just around the corner.Or is the hair rig now synonimous with carp fishing,and maybe side hooking baits will pick up more fish now because of it

I've been thinking the same thing mate! I'm sure that carp have wised up to hair rigs. But its really down to us to think of new tricks.
why not go back to basics and just use the hook......might work??????
