Although, if it comes from the Korda stable i reckon it will be good.

There not many products if any that Danny and the Korda team get wrong.

Its still not out yet, but hopefully, in the next few months.

I have heard it still isn't 100% yet, but when it comes out it will certainly be the nuts.

I have always been a Fox Soft Steel man for most of my fishing, and use x-line on a few of the pressured waters i fish, the the new Korda stuff is a bit of both worlds.

At the moment i have got maxima,berkly big game and slycast on my reels as i am using up all my older bulk spools,so if you manage to try out the korda line,i wouldn't mind learning how you get on as i will be buying some fresh line half season.

I have been using Korda Adrena-line for a couple of weeks now and have had no problems at all,it has a nice thin diameter and casts well,im'e very happy with it.

funny that danny brought out a mono rather than a flouro after how he used to bang on about x-line,

1stly, its stated b/s is very accurate.

2ndly, it stinks after a short while.

3rdly, its very abrasion resistant.

4thly, its very limp and supple and casts like an absolute dream. terry edmunds has broke a casting record with this line.

5thly, around £16 for a 1000m, marked in 250m intervals.


the making of a very good line. and have heard nothing but praise.

Yes, i thought the same about them bringing out a mono. X-line was meant to be the dugz nutz as far as he was concerned as covered by them quite extensively in their Underwater DVD's, and on the back of the recommendations, truth be told thats what my XBr's are spooled with and have been for 3 seasons now and i have only praise for the stuff, except the price.

From you plus points you mention on the Adrena-line, plus the price(value for money or what?) looks like this could be line for my next change.

my techniums are spooled up with x-line too.

i'm only on a 5 acre pit at the moment, and seen as i aint gotta cst to the sun its perfect for the line shy carp fished slacker than slack.

theres reports of it breaking lower than stated, i did a "noddy pub chuck" into the tree and it took some pulling to pull for the break.

the stiffness is a nightmare at times, especially when casting into the wind, i've had some silly birdnests. but they un-tangle easy enough.

17lb x-line is expensive. but i love it on smaller waters.
